Conditions of participation / privacy policy

By entering the prize draw, the participant accepts the following conditions of participation:

1. The organizer of the prize draw is Ferd. SCHMETZ GmbH, Parkweg 2, 72458 Albstadt, Germany.

2. Persons who follow SCHMETZ on schmetz_official on Instagram and are at least 18 years old are eligible to participate. Employees of Ferd. SCHMETZ GmbH as well as their relatives as defined in § 15 of the Revenue Code and life partners are excluded from participation in the prize draw.

3. The participation in the prize draw is effected by liking the post and tagging another person in the comments. Each participant may only enter once per invitation to the prize draw. Only one prize is possible per participant. Participation in the prize draw is independent of the purchase of a product. Participation via lottery clubs or other commercial service providers is excluded.

4. The following prizes will be drawn:

Package 1: velvet fabric 1,5m, cuddly fleece, 2 sewing thread (dusky pink and dark dusky pink), Needle ABC, Nadel cushion, SCHMETZ labels, SCHMETZ seam gauge, needle blister (SCHMETZ Super Stretch Needle)

Package 2: cord fabric 1,5m, flannel dogs 1,5m, 2 sewing thread (brown and white), Needle ABC, Nadel cushion, SCHMETZ labels, SCHMETZ seam gauge, needle blister (SCHMETZ Universal Needle)

Package 3: synthetic leather 1,5m, half-panama leopard print 1,0m, 2 sewing thread (petrol and white), Needle ABC, Nadel cushion, SCHMETZ labels, SCHMETZ seam gauge, 2 needle blister (SCHMETZ Microtex Needle and SCHMETZ Universal Needle)

Participation is possible until 31. December 2024, 10 a.m. After that, the winner will be drawn and notified via Instagram Messenger service.

The prize is not transferable. A cash payment of the prize is not possible. If the winner does not respond to the prize notification within one week, as requested, his or her claim to the prize expires.

5. The participant keeps Instagram/Facebook indemnified from any and all obligations arising from participation in this prize draw. Furthermore, the prize draw is not connected to Instagram/Facebook and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or organized by Instagram/Facebook. Each participant agrees not to sue Instagram/Facebook for any claims arising from the prize draw.

7. All decisions are final.

Privacy policy

The personal data processed by Ferd. SCHMETZ GmbH will be used exclusively for the organization and execution of the prize draw and for sending the prize.

For the execution of the prize draw, the profile name will be collected and stored. For sending the prize, we will additionally collect the last name, first name and address of the winner(s). Only employees of Ferd. Schmetz GmbH who are responsible for coordinating the prize draw will have access to your personal data.

The legal basis for this processing of your personal data is your consent. It can be revoked at any time with effect for the future by deleting your comment from the prize draw post.
